I absolutely LOVE my son’s teacher. She is a TAG (Talented and Gifted) certified teacher and she is amazing. Even the Homework is fun and not just a plain worksheet. She implements choices and lets the kids explore and utilize the computer. We have several different projects we have worked on throughout the year letting the kids explore different cultures, different food, simple machines, and even making an instrument. My son has learned so much from her, and I am grateful she has been his teacher this year. She is very patient to deal with a whole class full of busy and blooming students. It makes such a difference when you have a good teacher who thinks outside the box and encourages her students to do the same. I can’t say enough! Being a mother of three children (ages 17-11) I have encountered many wonderful teachers throughout the year. However I think if I had to narrow if down I would choose one of my daughter’s cheer sponsors. Both of them make sure the girls are on track academically and realize that getting a good education is top priority. They also are wonderful with the girls. The girls know they are welcomed to come talk to them at any time. Yes, they are strict, but I think these days teens need that. They need to learn to balance academics with extra curricular activities, and these two wonderful ladies help show these girls that they have the potential to succeed in whatever path their lives may take and that when you want something bad enough, and you work hard, you can do anything.

Hi, My son’s 2nd grade teached is AMAZING! The school has recently cut the ART program, and my son was so bummed. My son has ADHD and his teacher has not given up on him. She has her own self-funded craft area in her class room, and spends lots of money. I often give her my left overs as i am sure she will find a way to inspire the kids in her class with. Her displays are always very decrative and the kids enjoying having “art” again. With my sons condition, this has been a great help in keeping him on task.

  107. Lori says

I think that one of my most important thing teachers can teach students is self responsibility!

  108. Maryann Maltman says

Our teacher ROCKS!! She is an excellent Kindergarten teacher and who else would need all these items more than a Kindergarten teacher at Highland Arts in Mesa, Arizona!! Our teacher has a very large group this year because this school has become quite popular and one of the only ways to get your kid in is through the kindergarten open enrollment. With supplies having become so expensive and many of the teachers most times buying their own it’s a difficult time for our children’s heros! Many times you see parents buying things and taking them for the class. pencils, erasers, paper and such. Times are different from when we went to school.

  109. Kristina says

My daughter’s teacher this year is wonderful! She has creative ideas when teaching the class new things ~~ she even makes book reports fun! We live in Salt Lake City, in this area there are so many kids at the school that it is popping at it’s seams, and yet Ms. Drapper is able to make each child feel special and important. I would love to share this with my daughter’s junior high guidance councilor. She has been with her for three years and has helped her grow into a wonderful young adult. My daughter is graduating 8th grade this year and moving up to the high school and wish we could take Ms Santella with us. She is truly a wonderful compassionate caring lady who has gone above and beyond for her classes to help them adjust to the pressures of growing up. My daughter is a confident studious young adult because of this wonderful lady. Thank you for the opportunity to recognize her!

So thankful for the teachers in my childrens’ lives! Best teacher ever was who my son had for 2nd grade. My son is on the autistic spectrum disorder, and she unfailingly was patient and kind with him, working tirelessly to resolve any problems that arose and to make sure my son had the best learning experience possible! This giveaway is amazing, and if I were lucky enough to win she would definitely be my choice because she deserves this and so much more!

My son’s teacher, Mrs. Farrell, is wonderful. She is caring and fair and all of the children love her. She makes a point of taking me aside to tell me about the things Elliott is doing, and if he does something kind or special. He is so lucky to have her as his teacher!

I would love to win this. My daughter is a 2nd grade teacher at a very poor community . She tries to do arts and craft one or twice a month with some of the children after school. She could sure use this, and would love to have one to. Thank you for a chance to win

I don’t have children of my own but my sister works as an aid in a Child Development Center helping to teach infants and toddlers. Her passion is unmatched and the center would like for her to be the head teacher of a room of her own. She helps the infants and toddlers learn social skills, motor skills, colors and so much more–everything that is the great foundation for Kindergarten. Embossed papers would make an excellent teaching tool for infants in the tactile stage!

  126. Lesa says

My son’s teacher is so creative and crafty. I would love for her to get something for her dedication to getting kids to love learning!

  127. Paige Gonzalez says

I do not have any children in grade school. However, my daughter babysits for her 4th grade teacher and still has a great relationship with her and her family. She was in the teacher’s first class she taught in and they have remained friends for along time. She is now a mentor for my daughter as well. My daughter is in college and has finished her AA and on to get her BA and Masters to become a teacher as well. I know she has had some great infulences in her life but Mrs. Orlando is a permant part of her life.

My daughter’s kindergarten teacher (Mrs. Adams) loves to teach and loves her students, and it shows in all she does! The school is a small country school where resources are limited and money is tight. Even so, Mrs Adams goes above and beyond to do anything and everything for her students. She has been such a blessing to my daughter and us, because of the individualized attention that she gives each and every student. I applaud and thank all the teachers out there for all they do!

  129. Ellen Schmidt says

My children are grown, but my favorite teacher on the planet is my oldest daughter. She teaches both pre-school and college and she is well loved by her students at both levels. She is an awesome mother too, to my wonderful granddaughters, ages 11 and 7. You couln’t do better if you were picking a teacher for your own child!

My son’s teacher does so much with the students pertaining to art…my office is filled with different paintings, handmade cards, tile that adorn his picture…she has gotten his creative juices flowing. My son has autism, and she has found a way to communicate with him with the use of art as a sensory tool!! Most of the art projects she does with the class, she has spent her own hard earned $$$ on…winning this would be fabulous for her as well as the students that she teaches <3

Mrs. Shostatz at the Kalama High School is the worlds coolest teacher. She is always there for the students and goes out of her way to help them and teach them. She spends hours upon hours other than her teaching hours with the students and she volunteers for several after school curiculum. She spends her own money and is always doing some kind of crafts for the students and uses her crafts as her teaching aids to help the ones who needs extra help. She is one of a kind who deserves some kindness back. Thank you.

I forgot to say why her teacher is so great. We switched schools half way through the year and she loves her new teacher. The teacher makes everyday fun and my daughter learned more in her first week then she did a whole semester at her old school.

Ms. Joy- is exactly that! She is so full of joy and enthusiasm in my daughters daily life. I never have to drag my daughter to take her to school (if anythin it is the opposite). Throughout this kindergarten year she has taught my daughter to start finding out who she is and how to she is control of herself.(my daughter had the worst time with tantrums before she got into kin She has allowed the classroom to be one big environment…..even showing students that are stronger in a particular area how they can help other student when possible. Ms. Joy is so involved in their daily activities she sends out regular emails at least 2-3 times a week updating us on what is going on in the classroom and what they will be learning. She does this so that we are aware of what they are learning in case they have questions why they are at home. I love how involved she is with all of the students. And I have never doubted how much she loves these kids. As she always puts it “they are blossoming in front of her eyes and I get to be such a big part of it.”
